In March 2010, with the coming of the second anniversary of Wenchuan Earthquake, a new array of Shimao Caring Hospitals was completed in succession. Liusheng Shimao Caring Hospital of Dongpo District in Meishan City, Xiaoquan Shimao Caring Hospital of Jingyang District in Deyang City, and Bolong Shimao Caring Hospital of Jingyang District in Deyang, Sichuan Province, providing high-level medical service for the local residents, were formally established and put into operation successively from 3 March to 4 March. Ms. Aileen Zhuo, Vice President of Shimao Group, Mr. Gao Luyan, Vice President of Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce and leaders from municipal and district government and related department attended the inauguration ceremonies.

With a view to helping the victims in the quake-hit areas after Wenchuan Earthquake to rebuild their homes, Mr. Hui Wing Mau, JP, Chairman of Shimao Group decided to donate RMB 100 million to build 100 Shimao Caring Hospitals for the worst-hit areas on 27 May 2008, which came on the heel of an immediate donation of HK$ 10 million at the first time. Recently, about 60 Shimao Caring Hospitals have been completed and put into use successively in Sichuan, Gansu and Shanxi Province.
